Course catalogue
Every Waraqa course below is delivered one-to-one over secure video, with the same Al-Azhar trained teacher for the full duration. There are no rotating substitutes, no premium tiers, and no per-subject upcharges. Whichever course you choose, the rate is $10 USD per hour and the first evaluation session is free.
The catalogue is organised into four pillars — Quran recitation with Tajweed, Quran memorization (Hifz), Arabic language, and Islamic Studies. Within each pillar we run clear levels so you always know what is next. If you are not sure which course fits, the evaluation will recommend a pathway and write the first plan for you.

Every Waraqa course is built around the same idea: one teacher, one student, and a written plan. The course catalogue below covers Quran recitation with Tajweed, Quran memorization (Hifz), Arabic language, and Islamic Studies. Each track has clear levels so you always know what is next — no vague "intermediate" labels and no surprise jumps in difficulty.
Before any course begins, you book a free evaluation so the teacher can place you accurately. We have seen too many learners pay for months of "beginner" lessons that were actually too easy, or too advanced. The evaluation prevents that — and the matched teacher is the one you continue with, not a different person on day one.
The Quran recitation pathway begins with Foundation for readers who need the Arabic alphabet, moves through Pre-reading (Noorani Qaida) to fluency, and continues to Khatmah and Qari level with full Tajweed mastery. Adults usually move faster than children and finish the early levels in weeks, not months.
Tajweed is woven in from the start. We do not "teach reading first, then Tajweed later" because that habit is painful to undo. Beginners learn correct makharij (articulation points) and basic rules alongside the letters, so recitation grows clean.
The Hifz pathway starts with short surahs for beginners, then Juz / Surah memorization, then the Khatmah and Hafez programs for learners aiming to memorize the whole Quran. We use age-appropriate review cycles and weekly written progress so memorization actually sticks.
Children and adults memorize differently, and we plan accordingly. Children review in shorter, more frequent intervals; adults use focused weekly anchors. Either way the teacher tracks new pages (sabaq), recent review (sabaqi), and old review (manzil) on a single living plan.
Our Arabic Language course ladders from Arabic Basics to Classical Arabic at intermediate and upper-intermediate levels. Quran-focused learners study Quranic / Classical Arabic so they can read the Qur'an, tafsīr, and classical books without leaning on translation.
The Islamic Studies course covers Established Facts of Religion for revert and family learners, an Introduction to Classical Books, and Advanced Islamic Studies for students ready for deeper ʿaqīda, fiqh, and sīra. Families can run a six-month sīra plan together.
